agree Freesnale in regard to the broncos. They have an exciting future. And yes, they halves are the key as to whether they can be consistent enough. I also have concerns with McCollough at booker as I don’t think he gives them enough in attack which I am sure you agree. O’Sullivan is one to watch to see if he can take the step up. There were big wraps on him when he was in the lower grades at the Roosters and he may just fill that void in the halves in the long term. Bird has a point to prove and needs justify his big money and I think it is fair to just write off last year as he was never fit when he got on the field.
Ideally I would like to see Milford at fullback and that can only happen if O’sullivan succeeds. In saying that Nikorima still needs to improve a lot to be a consistent NRL half with a kicking game. Personally, I think his best position is coming off the bench at hooker to inject speed around the ruck to spot slow forwards in defence.
I think the key could really be if O’sullivan Can take that step up. It then gives the broncos options and possibly some stability in the halves. It’s good to see he is on the extended reserves bench which means he is not far off and must be doing ok.
