Yes, hutch have invest a lot in hta. regarding buy out, that would not make sense unless the price was fairly high. As a shareholder I would want shares in parent entities for that to work, it would mean trading potential growth for security.
I read somewhere a year or so ago that "King Kong" wants to give shareholders a proper say in his companies, not sure which ones apply, some sort of deal to the benefit of small holders would be nice. It would be pretty inexpensive to give small holders a bonus.
