West Klondike and Abita are mainly gas producers so it is good to see a recent increase in the Nymex gas prices.
Many convert gas to barrel of oil equivalent using the calorific value but this overstates the oil equivalent imo. Looking at the change in prices above I am changing my conversion factor from 31 to 21 to better reflect the higher value of gas. This should result in a small increase in our boed number which will also flow on to the EV calc's
