PM, good post and points we should all consider. Imo the SH is a major disaster and will be a problem in the region for many years to come. Issues concerning this are discussed regularly in the council meetings and all drilling permits make reference to the issue. Since the event there have been several permits approved, some expired most likely due to the issue as they were closer, - Desiree was drilled after it occurred and is producing. The SkHole is SW of the dome and our activity is 6km away to the NW, delays we have experienced imo are most likely to be related to the sinkhole. Permits are still being issued which is our best guide as to the future.

In regards GGE, we were not involved in that area, our wells are already producing and it would be easy to pick up other projects in Louisiana atm with the free cash currently generated. If we do nothing we are still making money. We can do another Abita or WK and wait it out.

GGE has many options and some excellent partners but everyone should consider the points you make in making their own decisions.
