The road...the road- the bottleneck ! Just as important as licensing, and national park boundary re alignment. Without the road there is no mine or mill. Only 20 ks of new road and a bridge, and they have the money to build it, so why still no road ? The road in progress refers to an existing road that is being resurfaced. The route of the new section has been carefully planned to avoid villages and sensitive areas, they have had consulting engineers in to plan it. Will they give us a surprise by announcing its completion? EMR hold their cards very close to their chest. They never give out any information until it is fait accompli. Enemies of the project are all around. NGOs and the WWF are still watching. The WWF had stated that they will bring their opposition to the project to Australia. We have had one poster recently who was highly likely a member of the WWF, trying to spread despondency among shareholders. EMR never give out sensitive information that may be used against them. It is my opinion that the banks want to see the road completed before funding the project. If I was a potential llender that would be my position. EMR have money from the CR to use before they need bank money. So here is my take...no funding before road completion. Road and (temporary) bridge completion announcement to come first. Forget funding in the short term. There is no magic bullet. Switch off and chill out.
For a long time I was a flag waving, banner carrying, drum beating choir boy for EMR. Whilst I still have full confidence in the project, I will critasize and praise as I see fit, and not be silenced. I'm a long time holder (years) and all my EMR shares are in the green, but I do get a trifle jaded at times with the snail paced speed of the project. Electric high line won't be to the site until end of year and is not really needed for construction as they have plans for diesel generation. The road is a mystery. Maybe we will get a surprise announcement.
