    Question...how large is a grain.

    Base point. Lets assume for a moment a grain is 1mm cubed. 1x1x1.

    There are 1000 mm3 in a cm3.

    Let’s assume the grain =1mm

    150 grains=150mm3

    1000mm3(1cm3) of gold is approx 20grams.

    150/1000 x 20 = 3gms

    3gms/kg is 3000gms/ton
    In OZ terms that’s ~100oz/ton on a grab sample.

    Let’s say the grains are 0.3mm3 average.
    That’s still around 30 oz/ton or around 100g/ton.
    Even a very conservative dilution here results in a significant potential grade.
    Still only a small (random) sample, but nonetheless very encouraging.
