Good morning.
A couple of points that I noticed in this report and the previous.
This excerpt from the 20/12/18
Mechanical rock sorted concentrates range from 0.07-0.48% of total sample mass, a remarkably small fraction. Given the high-grade assays of these concentrates, ranging from 92.1-792.4 gpt Au, it appears that gold is being significantly upgraded by mechanical rock sorting.
Then this from overnight.
Egina 2019 Exploration Program:Novo announced encouraging results from processing of its first bulk sample at its new Egina gold project in a news release dated December 20, 2018. A total of 107.88 grams of raw gold were recovered from 95 cubic meters of gravel. Gold was found to be dominantly coarse suggesting simple processing techniques can likely be employed during potential future large-scale gold recovery at Egina. Novo thinks lag gravels mantling the vast erosional terrace at Egina could host a significant gold deposit, the shallow nature of which makes it a particularly attractive target.
I am guessing that the weight of those gravels is around 1.6t to the M3 which is a grade of around 0.7g/t
SFA?
Not when you can take it from surface and sort it to the grades previously reported, ( in the excerpt above ) the cost to further process should be very favourable.
I assume the Lag Gravels will be where Novo gets their first return.
While we do not have Lag Gravels, it does give many further possibilities to how the Conglomerate will be dealt with.
Eg; Ripped, crushed, sorted into concentrated material and then processed at those much higher grades.
The additional costs to a plant design would be very small to what the potential return may be, ( possibly additional crushing facility ).
Now, is that being positive or justing looking at the upcoming possibilities?
I like it and I will bet that this will be one of the upcoming optimisations that are currently being considered in our PFS.
Are we silent because nothing is happening or is this what they are considering which takes time and will no doubt be of a very material effect when finally announced?
Kind regards, Wack.
