"Embattled Queensland property manager Trinity was in trading halt last night as its remaining senior executives desperatly tried to secure the backing of several major Brisbane lawyers and property identities to help seal its future. It is understood three leading Brisbane business executives have been invited to join the Trinity board, including property funds manager Chris Morton and veteran developer John Jamieson. Another property identity also expected to join the board of the struggling company was lawyer Brett Heading, a partner with Mccullough Robertson. Mr Morton, who founded Property Funds Australia, became a substancial shareholder in Trinity yesterday through his mCap property advisory services business and is expected to join the board."
