Yours is a fair assessment of MOF. We need patience and wait for sentiment to change on REIT's in general. MOF is a simple landlord who has borrowed money to purchased property to rent. Not difficult to understand the model.
All we need to do is, wait, wait, wait, wait. Any property investor will tell you that when property values are falling, you need to wait until they rise.
I think contributors to the MOF thread are too pessimistic. We are on the verge of ending the bear run imo.
