Zero is a big call! Fortunately regulators are aiming to improve business models for consumers not put companies out of business. I’d guess the deal will go through & they’ll need to find better ways to conduct sales. There will be costs & an impact on sales but long term could be a better business for it? If this is close to the case it’ll be 30c long before 12 months, it’s not impossible that management has been criminal & incapable of adapting & the takeover is stopped & new regulations make the business unviable & fines imposed greater than any asset value but that would be extraordinary on many fronts. The fact that FOR is a respected & credible fund that invested heavily in FIG lends weight to the business being better than the spectacularly poor it would need to be for the worst possible case. I bought a small parcel too early thinking it was overdone then topped up & I’ll buy more if it drops significantly again. Investing always has an element of risk but I like these odds!
