A question:
Are there any synergies between the two? I can't find anything in common (except for perhaps major shareholders).
Perhaps it is argued that it diversifies. But there are no savings in that. Just cash spread more thinly.
Or, is this a bogus offer, and ESG will come over the top with the real offer?
I once heard a wise little girl say:
"If you want a dog, first ask your parents for a horse".
Well, the deal with GGX is so bad, that perhaps the real offer is yet to come.
