I see where you are coming from.

It would not surprise me to see the banks take a big tumble if we have high unemployment going forward, just like they have in US and Europe. That could put property prices under stress and push down the banks' profits on mortgages.

I am not going to short anything, and will invest in shares again as opportunities arise.

Good luck. Lets hope gold turns back up again soon in a meaningful way.
