Good example, dear old Briggs & Stratton...I still have one of their lawnmowers, got to be one of the most reliable machines I have come across.

From memory the Blue Gen needed to be inline (mains) gas supplied and didn't work with bottled gas. They also couldn't generate anywhere near 12.5KVa and cost a lot more than $7000 (about 4 times this at least) and had a payback period of something like 10 or more years. Not exactly exciting stuff for domestic consumers.
