I have been writing for years that the product they had in the BlueGen was just an overpriced generator, but just got howled down as being a downramper.
Their niche should have been in off grid applications using LPG, but it might just have been they never got LPG to work properly. In the early days of marketing they compared the product to solar on cost savings, then solar crashed and left them high and dry. 567 units up and running after 5 1/2 years of marketing tells the story of a dud product.
Someone will buy the technology from the administrator and hopefully it's a big enough outfit to spend more on research so that the range of applications is appropriate.
