Some were asking so: Independent consultants RPS Energy Pty Ltd some years ago in a report assessed Winchester as:
Undiscovered gas Initially in place:
Low estimate 590BCF Best 1596 Mean 2131 High 4243
Prospective Gas Resource and Condensate:
Low 354BCF 14mmbbls Best 1117 49 Mean 1492 67 High 3394 156
Early days, hoping that they find more obviously with the 6 3/4" hole lower down where they ran into over-pressure problems previously that necessitated the S/T.
Just as a heads up. Using the 'Best' figures and 50c a thousand and 20 dollars a bbl you get. (Plug in whatever numbers takes your fancy)
1500 x 25% = 375BCF x 50cents/thousand in gnd = 187.5m 67 x 25% = 16.65mmbbls x $20bbl = 335.0m
Approx 230m shares on issue fully diluted = 2.27cps.
As I say plug in whatever numbers you like. They have called it a 'discovery', I haven't heard the word 'commercial' yet but I have my fingers crossed. I think a lot will depend on what they find lower down.
