COVER STORY: Two years ago, Australian company Strike Resources Ltd took a chance on a thermal coal project in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. The gamble appears to have paid off, with Strike possibly less than nine months away from production. Journalist Jason Alexander made the journey with exploration manager Cherie Leeden into the jungles of Borneo to see the project first hand.
