I was listening to Smoothfm this morning - and what do I hear.......an ad for NORTON PREMIUM
Something like......
"Do you have family photos on your laptop, do you have personal documents on your laptop....where would you be if you lost them?.......get Norton premium to protect your family, including protection against the recent Wannacry virus......available at all good electronic retailers"
It went for about 20 seconds but really hit the spot in terms of ramping up a little bit of fear, referencing the protection of your family and important documents (ie kids photos)....and referencing Wannacry.
MS. KAREN NEGUS AND TESSERENT: have a listen to the advertisement if you get a chance (it is smooth 93.5 in Sydney??).......accept Tesserent has a different product.....but an advertisement on radio......targetted to small and medium businesses........in a similar vein to the Norton premium ad wouldn't be a bad strategy at all. I thought it was a really good ad and was hoping beyond hope that it was actually advertising Tesserent........speak of the devil as per the recent hot copper posts.......it was advertising Norton premium.
