One thing i know for sure. What is happening now with NK is being VERY VERY closely followed by South Koreans. It means so so much to them and it is their moment in history. If they still don't have extended family members in the north, they still have skin in the game due to the tension they have learnt to live with.
While there are those who can't see past their hate for Trump, most see it as a momentous achievement thus far.
It is quite sad and pathetic actually that had these happened under any other leader, they would be lauding such a leader getting to this point. What is even sadder and more pathetic is that in South Korea at the moment, this is as significant as any other historic world event. I have never met a person who said that the taking down of the Berlin wall was a bad decision. I haven't heard any criticism NOW of Reagan "legitimising" the USSR.
The people with Trump derangement know the significance of what is happening but can't bring themselves to openly admit it. I know for a fact that the people of SK are following this intently with great hope and by no means think it is insignificant. I think that tells you everything.
