"Kim has now been legitimised by the "leader of the free world" as the leader of NK in front of the World. "
Sooooooo, just like the "leader of the free world" legitimising Castro and the biggest terror state in the world in Iran? Oh, is that like when Nixon meeting Mao? Or do you mean when Reagan "legitimised" the USSR?
To sane people, they generally know what the goal is when meeting with leaders of tyrannical regimes. Sane people can differentiate between "legitimising" a regime and attempting to make the world a safer place.
It's the people who aren't quite playing with the full deck that can't differentiate between the two.
