I assure you that the council was going to close Phoenix park to save money but some people made a fuss and stopped the council. Yes the gardens are great but that is not good management but caring gardeners. the town is on the bones of its arse and I don't think other contractors being looked after before the whole of the town and its ratepayers is fair or logical .if you are in town then you will be able to ask the CEO and you will already now which councillor have the shares and how much is lost. Private contractors already new that NGX was dodgy and took the chance , but ratepayers were not consulted and it is the towns money!!!!!!!
