non-renounceable entitlement issue, page-4

I really don't understand this at all.

Under the entitlement I can buy more shares up to the number of shares I already have one for one at a price of .004. I get that bit, but the SP is and has been .004 for weeks, so what's the difference between just buying the shares on the market for .004 (or less) and getting them through the entitlement? If I want more shares at .004 I could just buy them couldn't I?

Is the only benefit the fact that I don't have to pay brokerage or something, because that's not much of a saving at all.

Can someone explain in brief terms?
