A lot of stuff that is published by the media is not completely true, but usually there is some truth amongst the hyper-bole. In this case I do believe that their story is accurate otherwise John would already have announced legal action for defamation. When Nathan Tinkler was at the height of his empire media reports starting coming out about some of his outstanding debts and yet Nathan consistently denied that he was in trouble and we all know how that ended up.
