I think allot of people (especially in western society) are under the belief that global warming will impact future generations & that we are still generally safe from the worst of it. This could be because we are now so disconnected from our environment that we wouldn't notice much unless we couldn't buy food at our local supermarket. Global warming is happening right now & i think we will experience some pretty bad consequences in our lifetime as a result of our actions (& inaction).
