Climate change cant be stopped. It can be slowed to some extent but the fact remains that our entire civilization is driven by endless consumption & growth powered by greed. Unless there's a plan to globally reduce these factors by an order of magnitude the human races fate is sealed. Can you imagine a world where you could no longer just buy whatever you wanted even though you had lots of money? Every time you consume something it results in the depletion of natural resources & creates carbon emissions. How can you stop global warming when you cant stop endless consumption? You cant.
