The number of shares is irrelvent because a 30% rise on the value of your holding is the same regardless. True, there are explosive rises to be enjoyed on the penny stocks that's for sure but the lack of liquidity can be a major thorn at times!
It's good to have some exposure to penny stocks but as long as all your eggs aren't in the same nest :)
