Bhutos - is not the Laurel deeper and thicker on the OBL block? Perhaps BRU does not have much down to 5000m. Also, it appears the OBL 75% is simply after allowing for the announced OXX 25% farmin, after which OXX then have to provide for exploration etc - just like Mitsubishi must with BRU. So it is not a specious comparison as you suggest. You are right however that "even a fair comparison gives OBL more leverage" and so would you suggest a switch?
