No doubt the geologists can make something of the drilling update - but for us mug punters it is a somewhat enigmatic document.
But I think I can glean the following:-
1. There is plenty of brecciated basalts - which I think is a precondition for nickel
2. There is some high magnesium - another precurser I think
3. They quickly brought in a 2nd drilling rig - which does not seem like a logical reaction if the initial deep hole was a washout
4. The SP is holding pretty well - no rush for the exits yet
5. The Aztec Dome is in or near red hot nickel country - hard to go past a good address
6. The company is spending big bucks on these few deep holes - which may suggest that they are reasonably confident
6. On the other side of the coin - I think BHP held this ground many years ago - and if that is so why did they let it go. I cannot find any info on any work they may have done - does anyone know the full history of the Aztec Dome.
I bought in as a straight out punt that there may be some nickel there somewhere - so no point in baling out before correct weight is declared.
