You don't get it Jazz ... farmers are becoming less reluctant to export their ag wastes for NOTHING ... at the very least it must cover the cost of nutrient removal. Now potash has tripled in 3 months, phosphate risen 8 fold in a year and nitrogen set to double this year, it won't be cheap for companies like SOI to obtain these wastes. There's no such thing as a free ride in this world.
So if they are paying for the nutrient contained in the wastes they buy off cane and palm producers, how can they supply a cheaper fertilizer than buying the raw units of N, P and K?
How the product is made is irrelevant. You know what fertilizer nutrients it contains because you know what is contained in sugar waste and palm by products. So it is not hard to value a tonne of NutriMix because you know the going rates for nitrogen, phosphate and potash ... Good luck! Eyes wide open ...
