The DoJ has a policy that the POTUS should not be indicted.
Not a law. The Constitution is completely and totally silent on the issue. Pretty much every constitutional expert who I have gained comment from has stated, with absolute certainty, that a sitting President most certainly can be indicted.
And incidentally- the SDNY have the exact same opinion too.
