The drilling commenced on the 25th. That's six days ago. Call it a week.
They estimated the time to complete the drilling program as being 2-3 weeks.
And you're worried about the lack of news?
Dude. If you're that stressed about there being no news when it's nowhere near the point where we could reasonably expect there to have been news by now (based upon the company's last announcement), you're in the wrong investment, and you should sell your shares now. At least then you'll have the certainty you crave.
No announcement in the next three weeks? That's when it's appropriate to start getting a little twitchy. Just a little, mind you - there could be good reasons for delays, although I would expect the company to make an appropriate announcement if there were a prolonged delay.
I'm tipping that the next announcement will be of the completion of the drilling program, and an ETA for the lab analysis report, with no speculation on the ore grades - they'll wait until they're certain of what they have.
I'm also tipping - assuming a positive lab analysis - that the announcement of the lab results will also include an announcement of an extended drilling program, to get a better picture of the extent of the mineral vein. At that point, I'll go out on a limb and say that the share price will jump 33, maybe 66, barely possibly (although I rate it unlikely) 100 percent. No more.
It'll soar significantly (3-5x, possibly more depending on the extent of the ore) on an announcement of a decision to mine (which should go hand in hand with high quality ore results from the extended drill program), if it gets that far.
