why can we just not get some form of communication as to what they are doing and what they intend to do.

clearly Mt Bevan cannot be developed without infrastructure - so please tell us how this will happen. buying a stake or buying out a company with port access is really a no brainer.

i bet the quarterly will come out with the same old rubbish recycled from the last report.

with the 9 mill they got (after they pay back the loan) we, the SH should ask to see how they spend every last god damn cent of that money.

its been 3 years. i dont know what else i can possibly do. i have written to NMDCs entire board, I have written to LCYs entire board. I have spoken with several of them over the phone. all sometime earlier in the year. truth be told several on us here were responsible for the infamous 'letter' NMDC asking for a way forward which was sent over 12 months ago and got some press at the time. i'm not grandstanding here but it was my name on the bottom of that letter. and its just disappointment after disappointment.

now i'm not up at this hour worrying about LCY, i'm actually been doing some of my day job (which at times becomes a night job as well) however I'll admit that LCY has kept me up at nights worrying. I know it has for lots of other people on here as well. My hard earned has been around 40-50k. now that is a decent amount but its pittance compared with some of the other stakes that people on this board have put into LCY. some in the order of 1/4 million or more.

we've had so many failed things
- the consultants and paid for broking houses doing some spruiking (lets talk about AZURE, Magnus, Morgans and there is more) - what has it done ---- nothing
- the SRK or what ever shell company that was meant to be ----- fail
- the coal tenements ----- fail (man oh man i don't know whether to laugh or cry when i think about the wording in that announcement 'LCY secures footprint into QLD coal' well that was a complete dud. so who advised us about that - did they get paid. what did our geo make of it ?? perhaps some fingers need to pointed his way and questions asked
- shareholder communication ---- fail
- reissue of options ---- took almost 9-10 months to actually do. then they have never been close to the money so you bet ya ---- fail
- communication from management (formal and informal through email/phone) --- fail (i'm basing that on people have said on this forum and my own experience)
- initial cap raising (RI at what 4 x current share price) ---- fail
- 200 mill line of credit ---- fail
- negotiations with HAW - well that is forever ongoing and the fact that all these third parties couldnt strike a deal then I'm calling it a ---- you guessed it ---- fail

So what has been achieved - staff getting paid. success !!!

i'm sure more people could add to this list.

now i'm also sure those in legacy towers who read this and we all know they do - will probably feel persecuted, and attacked. you know i actually have some degree of sympathy ... god knows why ... perhaps it is so bloody bad dealing with indian bureaucracy.

at the end of the day we have all suffered - financially obviously - but i reckon there are a hell of a lot of people who have stressed themselves to a stupor about all this as well.

i feel making another ples to management would just be wasting time. although i did do it last week.

what gets me is lack of transparency and lack of insite and lack of planning and communication. i feel absolutely smashed by this company and what it has done.

i know lots of others are doing it tougher than me so i won't whine anymore.

but i will say articles like the one in the title thread really get me peeved. its just rhetoric and its quite frankly can sum it up in 3 words .... just like we can when we consider the last 3 years.

did rana som envisage this debacle ?? you know I even tried to contact him at his new office/job to see if he could do anything. I begged the bloke.

DW - can I just say what a fantastic post that was. It summed up the emotions and feelings I'm sure most of us have or are dealing with.

I really sympathise with you and many of us with all this.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones only lost about $10k on this.

I learned many lessons though. Stay strong and tough DW, you seem like an absolute go getter in life with the tenacity and approach you've taken through all this.

Take care mate and I'm sure you'll make many bags of money in other stocks.
