Pardon my skepticism re your Chinese broker friend.
Sounds a bit like the Chinese doctor who supposedly discovered "Edzachary" disease.
Obviously your broker thinks he knows but it seems he has forgotten to tell his country folk in China metals not to bother looking around for future nickel resources in Australia. New technology is not exactly "new" and he is way off beam if he believes that touching nickel stocks is a no, no! Australian nickel is currently being tested in China with this so called new technology.
