Been in since IPO. SXG finally on the verge of production after 6.5 long years and many raisings. Never been cheaper. Those concerned about Board dropping the minimum last week should bear in mind that SXG's telemarketers have been hard at work and in the process clearly received feedback from the long suffering small holders that they felt they'd been cut out of this raising. Board reacted appropriately - even AFI and ARG set $500 minima for their spps (not $5,000). Wonawinta is a bargain - to see what SXG has bought for $375k, go to http://www.graysonline.com/sale/5010740/mining-quarries/for-sale-wonawinta-silver-mine-cobar-nsw. CCR invested $60 million in these assets just 2 years ago. Before the Wonawinta purchase, on my back of the envelope calculations, SXG had an npv of 2.8 cps fully diluted; with the silver asset, its got to be close to 4cps. Wonawinta needs operational experience; Sproule and co have it. Just need Au and Ag prices to hold up. Trenchstone have given SXG a get out of gaol card; up to SXG management now to prove their worth.
