    Morning gassed,

    You are correct, EOPL are responsible for all below, except "Rehabilitation".

    However, I'm guessing EOPL have an obligation to train and employ the Ewamian people.

    Once topsoil and vegetation have been removed and stockpiled waste material will be drilled and blasted via conventional techniques. Wherever possible blasted volumes will be kept to a minimum, so as to limit the impact to the surrounding environment. Blasted waste material will then be stored in waste dumps adjacent to the open pit. Waste material will be transported to the waste dump via excavators and articulated mining trucks (or other suitable truck) prior to the dump being contoured to a sustainable land form.

    Once the waste material is removed the ore, which varies in thickness from 1m to 10m, will be drill and blasted. The ore will then be transported to the ROM pad. Sufficient drainage and sediment controls will be established to manage water run-off from disturbed areas.

    Ore stockpiled on the ROM will then be loaded directly on to road registered trucks for transport to the existing Georgetown processing plant, wholly located on ML's 3409, 3540, and 3591 for subsequent processing, or another third party processing plant. All environmental impacts in relation to the processing of the gold ore will be covered under the Environmental Authority (EPML00899813) covering ML's 3409, 3540 and 3591.

    Infrastructure required to support mining activities include:
    • Offices and workshop;
    • Stormwater and diversion and capture structures;
    • Haul road and ROM pad;
    • Bores and water treatment plant;
    • Mine camp to accommodate and mess mine workers;
    • Explosives magazine; and
    • General lay down and storage areas.

    Mining operations will be completed on a rotating day shift, although from time to time night shift mining activities, as well as maintenance and other activities may be undertaken. It is expected that up to 10 persons will be on site at any one time to undertake the proposed mining activities. A further 7 persons will be employed in support functions including management, mine camp operations and other support functions.

    Disturbed areas will be progresively rehabilitated. Current plans only have oxide resources being mined, consequently Potential Acid Forming ("PAF") material is not expected to be encountered. Processes and systems will be estabished to identify and manage PAF material. Waste dumps as well as other disturbed areas will be contoured to a sustainable landform with previously removed and stockpiled top soil being re-spread. Once top soil is established areas will be seeded with appropriate plants and grasses native to the local area. Auditable systems will be established to manage, monitor and if required, adjust rehabiliation practices to ensure disturbed areas are rehabilitated to an appropriate standard. Mining pits are not expected to be back filled, unless PAF material is present in the walls and/or floor of the pit. Rehabilitation of pits that are confirmed as having no acid forming potential will be rehabilitated to water storage facilities.
