There is interest amongst the big players for "serious" mid-tier miners with lots of reserve and > 100K ounce annual production. With gold looking strong I expect consolidation over the next 18 months. Miners like AVO could be re-valued to new levels.
I would like to see AVO gobble up a few more juniors to make then look more attractive to the big boys.
