I'm a fan of the move - seems like they will acquire some high quality and high revenue customers that now don't really have anywhere else to go even if they wanted to leave iiNet - so I wouldn't expect much churn. Looks like iiNet got a sweet deal!
What it does do is creates another players with a ~8% holding, helping iiNet further shield themselves from a takeover from TPG... a little disappointing for because iiNet don't have the wholesale infrastructure to take on Telstra -- a TPG/iiNet combination has both the infrastructure and the customers... oh well - who knows what the future holds!
... and I happen to hold both TPG and iiNet and will continue to hold :)
