Nevsun Resources Ltd. plans to increase copper production in Eritrea
Nevsun Resources Ltd. The Canadian company Nevsun Resources Limited plans to increase copper production of its Bisha project in Eritrea than in the feasibility study stated. Nevsun end of this year plans to start the first phase of Bisha, the first commercial production is done in the first quarter of 2011. Time and financial resources, the firms are completely under.
Beginning to promote Nevsun in Bisha gold and silver, in three years, then copper and zinc in six years. In the copper phase, the flow rate of 20% to 40% higher than in the feasibility study with 2 million tons per year specified, the company said. The existing reserves of 20 million tonnes will be larger in reality. Nevsun is confident that it can estimate the total reserves in Bisha within the next year again.
