I have been out of PVM for some months but will look more seriously at this one once I think gold is going to do something positive.
A capital raising would make a big difference to shareholder returns.
Delay is not such a bad thing. Hopefully all costs will be falling - equipment and labour included as the world (and Ghana) mining industry contracts in the lower gold price environment.
It still grates me that Ghana raised its tax take on goldies from 25% to 35% and negatively changed the depreciation charges around 18 months ago. Their govnut is also 10% free carried and receives royalties.
