Hi A J,
I'm not so sure that your points are valid.
China is most concerned about pollution so ore LOI has relevance.
Stratigic supply decisions are made without concerns for markets.
Olympic Dam was bought from Western Mines in bad times.
Mt Isa mines was bought by Glencore at all time lows 20 years ago
When CRA sold Mt Lyle because non profitable an Indian company bought it and have taken the concentrate for 20 years.
How did all those purchases pan out ?
IRD has no debt ; thus not a weak stock that can be shorted.
IRD will march to the beat of its own drum. You will be ignored.
All the assets will not come on the market at liquidation prices.
Lets say IRD is breakeven at these iron ore levels. A strategic investor gets the ore at 1/3 less in price after 10 years. The initial years are at a market price but that reduces over time ; thus the incentive to invest. Also has the benefit of being away from the RIO strangelhold.
All in all to invest is a smart move.
A $ 7000 share sale @ $0.09 has no relation to the intrinsic value.
Sorry, but you wont dislodge the shares of this little duck.
