I don't mind our current board. Their actions so far have been proactive. The hostile takeover of IDX is a good example of that. Proactiveness is key. Too many ASX directors are passive and just let their companies flounder or leave them at the whim of the market conditions. Then when they become insolvent they just blame poor market conditions. A cop out. Too much time flying business class and smoking cigars.
Their charts are usually very long term downtrends which reflect a serious flaw in product or business acumen. Upward surges exist which reflect superficial success along the way, or just plain luck due market conditions at that time, but nothing lasting. AMP a good example.
If they are overpaid, I'd rather that any day than bad directors.
