Material as a general rule of thumb means the affect is greater than 5%. IMO the affect will be of the nature that further dilutes shareholding dramatically. However in the context of funding for a 'near production' project this is not bad news for medium term to Long Term holders. The alternative form of funding would have to be an arrangement for finance and or partnership but that was never going to happen IMO. Unless the share placement excludes ordinary shareholders this means the shareholders take the risk as per usual.
Without trying to stir the hornets nest, the lead up to this CR was a typical play via Azure... a handful of Ann's in hope to push up the SP, then a Presentation with a few bot plays pushing up the SP, then wham here comes a huge CR... the market however didn't fall for the lead up as they have done in years past, purely because Azure has now become very predictable in this type of play.
If this goes to sophies then the likes of Alacran results will be released not too long after the CR is done and the Sophs will have a opportunity to get out at a quick 30%++ ... Azure will be like "thanks for the short term loan... enjoy your quick profit "
This goes on allll the time.... it doesn't even have to be insider trading, its simply "we need $millions, we have ongoing projects that will pump up the SP in the short term so you can get a quick return on your money and get out prior to the SP retracting again."
If this CR is as big as I think it is, then we may have a few soph's along with shareholder entitlements.. If options come into play as a partial entitlement, then the exercise price of the options will give us a clue to a time span of SP predictions, as I usually find options are a slight con to the market... most company's that actually do have the future SP in mind dont want options to be exercised if it can be helped. The use of a business projection along with market analyst's can easily predict if oppies will expire in the time span due to ongoing CR's and dilution on the lead to potential revenue... just my opinion, but is way too common.
I personally think the raise will be the likes of 30cents with options attached... big guess... but we will find out soon enough.. If in the millions for a raise, then it just wont be Soph's, we will get the offer as well.. If we were really lucky, then a big player may put the money up, but I would say this isn't going to happen due to the nature of the to the lead up of this CR trying to encourage the market... if shareholders do get the chance to take part of the CR then time will lapse and it will not get 100% subscribed, then the sophs or alike till take the shortfall and a further discount...
find out tomorrow... expect significant dilution.. again predictable with the recent consolidation... dont know why I didn't listen to myself this time round... smfh
