Nexbis enjoyed market darling status in 2009 as its share price more than trebled to an all-time high of 55? in less
than six months. But it has completely unravelled since then and the company hit an all-time low of 5.3? in August
    2010.
The company has traded erratically in the past six months, and its recent removal from the S&P/ASX All Ordinaries
Index possibly contributed to a decline in its share price from 11? to Tuesday?s close of 9.3?. However, this may
present a buying opportunity as brokers have recently upgraded earnings expectations for 2011-12.
Analysts at Moelis expect the company to achieve earnings per share of 3? in 2011-12, representing a priceearnings
ratio of 3.1 based on Wednesday morning?s opening share price of 9.5?.
Nexbis is a diversified business that generates income from the distribution of complex telecommunications and
technological devices and equipment. The wide and varied nature of its business, along with its questionable past
performances, possibly accounts for the fact that it tends to fly under the radar.
The company has upcoming projects that it is poised to launch in China and Malaysia. Nexbis should be in a
position to generate recurring revenue from the implementation of its Nexcode Solution technology in Malaysia from
    the fourth quarter of 2010-11.
Nexcode is Nexbis?s National Security technology that has been adopted by governments to assist in areas such as
identity authentication, document security and fraud detection. The hardware that is related to this technology
includes passport, computer chip and barcode readers, fingerprint scanners and passport printers.
Given the ever increasing emphasis on national security issues as well as border protection, there should be
significant demand for this range of Nexbis?s product offerings.
