There are many opportunities with this company. I bought in at average of 0.17 back in 2005 when lenses, catheters, etc. looked feasible. Sadly they didn't happen and the share price took a dive. These products are still on the books and if ever bos solves the problems the company will soar. Even the old anti-fouling treatment might be revived one day.

Meanwhile the most likely application seems to be anti-microbial treatments of water-cooling towers and oil and gas lines. There’s apparently not a great margin on this product. In 2005 M. Oredsson said that the “company was not looking, at least in the short term, to develop large industrial applications, because current anti-microbial treatments for air-conditioning towers -- for example, used biocides costing around $5 per kilo.”

Still, a few dollars coming in is better than none. I like to imagine that BOS will soon be able to approach established producers of biocides and say we’ve got a cheap additive that will make your product safer and twice as effective.

Meanwhile I’m waiting for a break-though on lenses etc, but also keeping an eye on the serious competition out there.
