1) All those clients on the right hand side of the page in the last presentation are under contract
2) All the rest are in discussion - but moving fast
3) The US state department is Dept of Transport - a gigantic client - with immense plans / budgets - including the roll-out of self driving cars; a drone management system...and much more besides
4) The other providers that Buddy plugs into (Splunk, SAP, Salesforce...) are incentivised to pitch Buddy to their clients - as this can only increase their own stickiness - so a great win/win - that provides an integrated sales effort
5) Buddy are in the midst of a 'land-grab' - the cash raise is to accelerate roll-out (chiefly via key hires) to reach all those sectors that are rapidly needing IoT solutions / needing extensions to the platform (new features, customisation etc)
7) Splunk has achieved an MC of $7.5 billion with a highly focussed proposition - Buddy has an arguably bigger addressable market - as it targets manufacturers / retailers / govts / airlines / banks / insurers / ...
8) The importance of having data storage in multiple markets is a very big deal - much of the data produced is deemed private / sensitive - and much of it comes under sovereign laws about both how and where it must be held - Buddy has a significant advantage in already having these global data centres (achieved via its relationship with Microsoft)
9) If all the clients listed in the page came good it is estimated at $20 million revenue per annum
10) To really understand the opportunity consider this - a manufacturer wants data on its products performance in market - the retailer who sells this product may also want a subset of this data - and govt may also want a subset to provide the public with access to key information - this data cycle is immense / multilayered / and has potentially multiple clips on the way through - and its all unfolding rapidly

Knowing nothing about the internet of things, if I just throw $10k in it tomorrow on open for a lazy punt what kind of returns do you guess I could get in 6 months 1 year 2 years or 5 years?
