    In the event SIA buys NZ's stake, it will have to make a takeover offer. Punters will effectively have no choice but to accept whatever price on offer. It will have to be at a premium but may not be much seeing the share price is already so low.

    I bought a while ago at 46c on oil prices and the end of the capacity war. Unfortunately did not realise Virgin had a crap hedging strategy and a cost base that remains way too high. I think the current CEO is a flashy spendthrift and agree with NZ that he has to go. Virgin needs a hard nosed CEO not a guy that tries to please everyone.
