Right now Downer needs a strong leader to make some tough decisions, including a big rights issue, a re-look at the rail contract with the NSW Government and the possible sale of one of its divisions.
Just a question; why would management signal an intention to do a rights issue knowing that while the stock continues to trade, the price will be murdered by the market? CRs usually sneak up from behind.
What happened to DOW's previous statements that a CR was not required?
