Oct 18 (Reuters) - Australia's Woodside Petroleum Ltd (WPL) on Thursday reported around a 25 percent jump in third-quarter revenue, underpinned by rising output at the Wheatstone liquefied natural gas project and higher oil and LNG prices.
Revenue rose to $1.16 billion for the quarter ended Sept. 30, compared with $923 million a year ago, the country's largest independent gas and oil producer said.
Production came in at 23.1 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe) from 20.3 mmboe in the same period last year, putting the company on track to hit annual production of between 87 and 91 mmboe.
