Doubt it's much of an obsession with Big W. I'm sure Woolies would sell at the first chance provided they can fetch a reasonable price.
Don't think there's actually that much investment in Big W, I think the focus is more on trying to streamline the business and rid themselves of the many basic execution errors.

Agree that this can't continue for much longer though, as every announcement from the Woolworths Group regarding Big W flags the supposed turnaround to come (and expected losses).
