That is the norm. When a dividend is announced then the share price will reflect that. e.g. 60c dividend normally means circa 60c reduction in share price. Woolworths have fared very well considering a 19?c drop today.
All of the figures announced today show that Woolworths are firmly in the rebuild period. I dare suggest that the share price will reflect this with substantial gains in the coming weeks and months.
