I’ve re read the announcement and you guys are sort of correct. Whk refer their clients to Clarke and Sampson where’s Iselect go through a host of operators.
This is a trick missed though. Cyber crime is huge and right now the fastest growing insurance globally is cyber liability (I’ve been recruiting into insurance for 30 years so have got to know the industry well), Clarke and Sampson should be referring cyber insurance clients to whk for protection, that way it’s a win win, they take out insurance, then they get whk protection, the insurance agency and undedrwriter hopefully won’t have a claim, the client won’t have a cyber issue.
To get cyber clients to look at Clarke and Sampson, well that I don’t get personally. SME businesses already have their own broker who offer cyber insurance.
